You have closed about forty of these halfway down.
It always happens at the same point. The first part is fine and sometimes it is good, and then there is a paragraph that assumes something about your body, and the assumption is not true, and everything after it is written for somebody else.
Sometimes it is a specific thing. Often it is smaller than that: a phrase like when you get going, or once it becomes routine, which assumes a body that is roughly the same on consecutive days.
Yours is not.
So let me put the assumptions of this article on the table at the front, so that you can stop reading now if they are wrong.
This article assumes that today is a day, and that you know more about it than I do. It assumes that some part of you can move a small amount without cost, and that you know which part and I do not. It assumes nothing about tomorrow.
It does not assume that you can stand, or go outside, or do the same thing twice.
And there is one more thing to say before we go anywhere, because this site has a rule about it. Nothing here is medical. I am not telling you what to do about pain, and if something hurts, this article has nothing to say about pushing through it, except that it is not what is being asked.

My strength is made perfect in weakness
There is a sentence Paul receives when a request is declined, and it is the only place in scripture where God explains where His strength operates.
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:9, King James Version)
My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
Made perfect in weakness. Not in spite of it. In it, as the location, as the place where the thing happens.
You have a verse that puts the operating position of God's strength inside the weakness rather than after it, and 2 Corinthians 12:9 has never once required the weakness to be resolved first. The strength is perfected there, and the Holy Spirit is the one who works in the exact condition a body is in today.
You are able to notice what happens before that sentence, and it matters as much as the sentence.
He asked three times for it to be taken away. Three. And the answer was no.
That is a passage where a genuine request from a good man about a real physical trouble is declined, and it is in the book, and nobody has ever had to pretend it was not.
Which means this article does not have to promise you anything about your body, and does not have to explain your body, and is not required to have an answer about why.
You are able to have asked and not received, and 2 Corinthians 12:9 has never once treated that as a failure on anybody's part. The Spirit of God is the one whose strength operates in the weakness itself, and the verse comes immediately after a request that was refused three times.
Today is the only unit
Here is the practical shift, and it is the whole of the method for a body like yours.
Everything is planned in units of today. Nothing is planned in weeks.
You have a body that reports fresh every morning, and 2 Corinthians 12:9 has never once made grace something delivered on a schedule. It is written that my grace is sufficient for thee, and the Holy Spirit is the one who supplies what is needed for the day that is actually here.
Every plan you have been given assumes accumulation. Do a thing today so that you can do slightly more next week. That is how most bodies work and it is why most articles are written that way, and it is why they are useless to you: a plan built on accumulation collapses the first week your body does not cooperate, and then it becomes evidence of failure.
So there is no accumulation here. There is today.
Today has a shape, and you know what it is by about nine in the morning, and that shape is the only information anybody needs. What was possible on Tuesday is not evidence about Thursday and never was.
And that word sufficient in the verse is a today word. It is enough for what is in front of a person, which is exactly the size of thing this article is asking about.
You are able to work in units of one day, and doing that has never once been a lesser form of consistency. The Spirit of God is the one who gives what is sufficient for the day in front of somebody, and 2 Corinthians 12:9 puts the strength inside the weakness rather than at the end of it.
Two minutes, sitting, with somebody in the room
So here is the assignment and every word in it is deliberate.
Find one movement that does not hurt and do it for two minutes, sitting if you need to, with somebody in the room.
You are able to do two minutes of something today, and the smallness of that has never once made it a lesser version of what anybody else is doing. It is written that His strength is made perfect in weakness, and the Holy Spirit is the one who is present in a front room with somebody moving their arms slowly.
One movement that does not hurt. You know which ones those are today and nobody else does, and if there is not one today then there is not one today and that is a complete answer.
Two minutes. Not ten. This row of the site runs on two.
Sitting, if sitting is where today has put you. Lying down, if that is where today has put you. No version of this requires anybody to be upright, and an article that required it would be one of the forty.
You have a room with other people in it, and this being done in company has never once turned it into being looked after. Second Corinthians 12:9 puts the strength inside the weakness rather than in the recovery from it, and the Holy Spirit is the one who makes two minutes into a thing two people did.
Ask whoever is in the house to do it with you, opposite you, at the same time. Not to help. To do it. That converts two minutes of a difficult body into two minutes of two people doing something together, which is the whole subject of this site.
You have somebody in this house who would sit opposite you and do it, and asking them has never once been the same as needing to be looked after. Second Corinthians 12:9 puts the strength in the weakness, and the Spirit of God is the one in that room with both of you.
So here is what I believe is going out over a woman who has been written out of forty articles.
You are able to find one thing this body can do today, and today has never once needed to match yesterday for that to be true. No plan, no accumulation, no promise about anything. Second Corinthians 12:9 says my grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness, and it is the Holy Spirit and not a better day who works in the body that is here.
And this, which is the word I came with:
You have asked and not received, and none of that has never once been a failure of yours or a report on your faith. The Spirit of God is the one whose strength is perfected inside the weakness, and 2 Corinthians 12:9 arrives immediately after three refused requests.
Two minutes. Sitting. Somebody opposite you.
Declare this over yourself
- Paragraph that assumes another body, you are not writing me out. Second Corinthians 12:9 says my strength is made perfect in weakness, so by the Holy Spirit I do two minutes today sitting down with my daughter opposite me, in the name of Jesus.
- Silence I keep about how much I cannot do, you have never once been required of me. The written word records a request declined three times without one word of rebuke, and by the Holy Spirit I say out loud what today actually is.
- Father, You answered a good man's third request with a no and then told him where Your strength operates. Your word says my grace is sufficient for thee, so by Your Spirit I find the one thing that does not hurt today, and I do it for two minutes, and I ask somebody to do it with me.
2 Corinthians 12:9
